Azealia Banks has made yet another stride in her journey towards superstardom. In a recent interview, the young Harlem rapper revealed that she recorded a guest spot on Beyoncé’s still untitled follow-up to 4. “I actually did something for her record in Miami a couple weeks ago,” said Banks. “I really didn’t want to say it because I didn’t want to jinx it … Even the fact that I was considered to rap on a Beyoncé track was just… I’m about to cry. It was amazing.”
There’s still no word on when Beyoncé’s next album will see the light of day, but Pharrell, Timbaland and The-Dream are all reportedly involved.
