Every No. 1 Song on the Billboard Hot 100 Since 2000

In addition to providing a trip down memory lane, one look at the past 12 years of No. 1 singles on Billboard's Hot 100 chart reveals just how much certain artists dominated the Aughts. Nelly, for one, absolutely owned a chunk of 2002 with his two biggest singles, "Hot in Herre" and the Kelly Rowland-assisted "Dilemma," while American Idol proved its star-power throughout the years.

Usher has been an unstoppable force since 2001's "U Remind Me." Likewise, Katy Perry hasn't left the chart untouched since she debuted with "I Kissed a Girl" in 2008, and Maroon 5 continues to hold it down at the top. That's particularly true during these past, oh, three months, during which their "One More Night" single hasn't moved from the No. 1 spot.

Continue reading to see every single that's topped the Hot 100 in the new millennium, listen to all of the songs on Spotify, and view their respective cover arts.
