There were ongoing rumors that Gunplay was turning himself into prison on Tuesday. TMZ reports that Gunplay did in fact admit himself to a Miami jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest. That warrant stems from an armed robbery charge from this May.
Gunplay’s attorney, Mike Grieco, tells TMZ that, “Gunplay voluntarily surrendered today without incident. There's been an open arrest warrant for armed robbery with a firearm."
The warrant issued had robbery listed as an offense, and there haven't been any more details about any other charges.
The MMG rapper was also advised to turn himself in after his brawl with a member of 50 Cent’s crew. The rep was concerned that police would be drawn to his active warrant.
