More than 2,000 producers entered the MAKE BEATS contest held late last year by Stussy, Teenage Engineering and Low End Theory. And after months of deliberating who they could label the next great beat maker, they all agreed on young Los Angeles-based producer Zack Sekoff.

In addition to releasing a free EP, Ancestor's, with some huge names behind him, Sekoff is set to perform at the Low End Theory in L.A. this Wednesday, August 22. If you can make it out, chances are you'll hear plenty of Ancestor's, which features a guest appearance by Thundercat and some expertly flipped samples from Sekoff's grandfather's vinyl collection.

You can stream and download the EP below and read an interview with Sekoff at Stussy.
