Lady Gaga Sued For $10 Million By Bratz Dolls Company

Lady Gaga, her management firm, and Universal Music Group's Bravado International Group have been sued to the hefty tune of $10 million by MGA Entertainment, aka the creators of the Bratz dolls. The case stems from what the company alleges is a breach of contract over a Bratz doll in Gaga's likeness. 

According to Billboard, the singer and her management firm delayed approval of the doll, which means it won't be released until next year instead of this fall. MGA claims that it would have taken in an estimated $28 million in revenue this fall from the sale of the Gaga dolls.

Additionally, the company's complaint states that it paid "an excessively generous royalty rate, invested millions in the preproduction of the Lady Gaga dolls and put its reputation and goodwill on the line in order to secure distributors and retail shelf space."
