Yesterday, a video surfaced of Nas' planned lyching of a fake but lifelike, silicone made Jay-Z at 2002's Hot 97 Summer Jam during the aftermath of their war on wax. It never actually happened, and Nas and Jay-Z are now friends who have appeared on each other's songs, which explains why Nas did not want to comment on the hanging plans in an interview yesterday with MTV. Nas says, "I really don’t even want to acknowledge it. Everybody’s in a different place. I don’t even want to acknowledge it. I can’t acknowledge that. Jay’s my man, and that’s that, that’s all I’m gonna say." Fair enough.
