TMZ is reporting that Donna Summer, aka the Queen of Disco, has died following a battle with cancer. She was 63. Other details surrounding her passing remain unknown, but she was apparently in Florida at the time of her death this morning.
Summer's influence is about as wide-ranging and huge as it gets, with her career spanning more than 30 years and nearly 20 albums. She also has five Grammy Awards to her name, thanks to smash singles like "Last Dance" and "Hot Stuff," among others. Her final studio recording, Crayons, was released in 2008 and was met with mostly favorable reviews.
