8. LCD Soundsystem, Sound of Silver (2007)

In the past decade, the indie world has been inundated with danceable, electronic indie pop, but none did it quite like LCD Soundsystem. "All My Friends" is the perfect example of the glaring difference. It captured something that the usually lighthearted genre never came close to touching: powerful, almost overwhelming nostalgia. Instead of dropping a hot album and fading into the background, the weight of Sound Of Silver made LCD Soundsystem one of the most important acts of the past 10 years.

Fucking Hell this list is bad, fuck rick ross, fuck drake, fuck lil wayne. Kanyes latest album was terrible and you put it in the top 10. Undun was the best album of last year and it doesn't even get a mention. Earl Sweatshirt also deserves some recognition, Earl was better than 95% of all the albums listed. Why the fuck is there no mos def albums, he is probably the best living rapper and you just failed to include any of his amazing albums

This list is just a list of 100 albums from the last decade, in no particular order obviously. Somebody from the indie department, and somebody from the rap department. If you're going to publish something like this you lose all credibility, and it shows why you're a mainstream bullshit collection of terrible writers. I'd gladly write for Complex, and be credible --so whoever wrote this list prepare to lose your job, because I'm coming for you. You should try suicide.

This list is ridiculous. This list basically claims that 30% of the best albums in the last 10 years have came from 10 artists. Drake, Wayne, Cudi, Kanye, TI, Cam'ron, Jeezy, Jay-Z, Clipse, Em and 50 account for 30 of these 100 albums. Is this supposed to be the most popular albums, or the best? I like some of those albums - The Black Album, Kanye's first 3, Cudi's End of Day - but there's no way in hell The Roots should only have one, Mos Def has none, Talib Kweli has none, etc. Even on the non-hip hop end, you have Mariah ranked over the Killers' Hot Fuss? This album is pure garbage. Get off of Kanye's bag and listen to something besides what 106 & Park plays. I'm surprised you guys didn't have Big Sean on this shit list.
