Earlier in the week, it looked as if Mobb Deep's future was in jeopardy. Disrespectful tweets were popping up via Havoc's Twitter account, and rap fans were speculating on whether or not the beef was real. Soon after, Havoc released a statement saying he lost his phone and his Twitter account was hacked. So Mobb Deep fans breathed a sigh of relief. Then tonight, Prodigy and Havoc were spotted sitting together at Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks spank the Wizards as the team makes their final playoff push, officially squashing any notion of a lingering conflict between the two rappers.
It should also be noted that this is the first game Prodigy and Havoc attended together since the Knicks bench was given the nickname "Mobb Deep" by hoops analysts and fans during their mid-season resurgence. Nice to see that both the basketball team and the rap duo are holding it down for New York.
