Things began to heat up yesterday when Common responded to Drake's subliminal shots on Rick Ross' "Stay Schemin'." It was the shot heard 'round the world. With one of his biggest artists backed into a corner, Birdman stopped by Power 106 LA to speak on the ongoing altercation. He made it clear that he and the rest of YMCMB fully backed Drizzy.

"To me, however the homie wanna deal with it, we behind him, we supportin' him, 100 percent with our life. That's just how it is. Ain't no other way. Drake the lil' homie, that's blood, that's family, and ain't no sidin' with that. It's Drake or nothin'."

When asked if he would get involved in the feud, Baby responded with this:

"We don't do all that. We never did that. It never was about makin' money off of makin' music off of diss records. That's not how we operate. When you get caught up in that, to me, you forget what this about and it's about the people and that's what we do. We do our music for the people. We never been a brand of the diss and diss records and tryin' to make money. That's not us. But, Drake the homie and we support him fully and whatever he 'bout, we 'bout, and however that turn out, that's just what it is."

Well played, Birdman. Well played. We'll just have to sit back, relax, and wait.
