It's been five days since the music world lost one of its most famous voices, legendary singer Etta James. And in that short time, fans both old and new have come out in droves to hear the music of Miss Peaches. Billboard.biz reports that her music sales have jumped by 378 percent since her passing last Friday, Jan. 20.

The most staggering of all the figures is that sales of James' famed single "At Last" have increased by 1,361 percent. Why? Some 63,000 downloads, that's why. Just as huge is the fact she landed her highest-ranking Billboard album to date. The Best of Etta James - 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection went from number 162 to number 46 with 8,000 units sold. Previously, her highest-charting album was At Last!, which peaked at number 68 in 1961.
