Earlier this month, Common said that he's said all he has to say about his issues with Drake, but that he's still ready for whatever. According to a recent interview with Nah Right, Common can sit back and relax, because Drake isn't going to take this beef—arguably one of the corniest rap beefs in recent memory—any further.

That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all. I just used his potential situation to address my own life. I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else. That line had everything to do with me and what goes on in my head as a 25 year old man with this much income flowing in. Kobe is and always will be a friend and an icon to me.
On OVOXO and performing with The Weeknd
OVO and XO will grow immensely both separately and together this year. The Weeknd is about to hit the road and come perform all that incredible music for his fans. I’m looking forward to piecing something together where we can share a stage and give people the full experience.
On his new music
I have begun working on new music already and I’ll be recording during the whole college tour with 40. Making better music and building myself as a business is all that’s on my mind. Hopefully some acting as well.

@Hoolup I was just about to say! Drake just proved he's actually the one who cares about protecting his image and sales, not Common. And it's funny cuz Common is the one with the great career in movies/TV. Drake aint about the culture--he just uses it to get ahead and go "Hollywood". Drake can take sub-shots all day but let someone give him a direct challenge and he has his PR team cook up a statement. SMH! Drake specializes in throwing rocks and hiding his hands.
