Rappers always claim to be fans of other artists, but nothing shows being a true fan than reciting another person's lyrics. In this Court Dunn-directed clip, Common pays homage to Queens own Nas, by spitting the first verse from "Life's A Bitch" taken from his classic debut album Illmatic. Com mentions this is "one of the coldest album verses I ever heard in life" before getting into the verse. Just goes to show it's deeper than rap with them.
