Earlier this month, one source claimed that the Black Eyed Peas were splitting, citing their decision to pull out of the Michael Jackson tribute concert as a move that signified the end of the group. TMZ met up with Fergie and Taboo at LAX to clear things up. Both members confirmed that no, the Black Eyed Peas are not breaking up.
Fergie explained, "We're going on hiatus, yes. We're taking a break. A break is not a break up." Taboo confirmed, laughing at the idea and asserting, "We're a family, dude. Don't believe the hype."
No word on how long we have until BEP drop new material and start dominating the radio again.

hopefully it's a life long break, while they dominate the pop charts and have no doubt made squillions. their quality of music is shit compared to what it was like before fergie joined... pre fergie BEP were epic.
