Jay-Z Will Headline First Concert at Newly Built Barclays Center

The New Jersey Nets part owner will play the first show at the brand new arena in Brooklyn.

Jay-Z—who is part owner of the New Jersey Nets—will announce Monday that he will be headlining the very first concert at the newly built Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The announcement will come Monday at 10 a.m. on the Plaza at Atlantic Terminal overlooking the Barclays Center with Brooklyn Boroguh President Marty Markowitz, Forest City Ratner Companies Chairman and CEO Bruce Ratner, and Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark.

The New Jersey Brooklyn Nets are expected to move into the brand new arena for their 2012/2013 NBA season.
