R. Kelly, was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital yesterday after numerous complaints of throat pains. Soon after arrival, the R&B veteran was sent into surgery.
During surgery, surgeons drained an excessive amount of pus from one of his tonsils. The singer is now laid up in bed with hopes of a speedy recovery, as well as a return to the stage.
