Jill Scott has scored her first No. 1 album this week with The Light of the Sun, selling an applause-worthy 135,000 units in its first week of release. The album beat out Bon Iver, who lands at No. 2 with sophomore effort, Bon Iver.
Jill also outsold Adele's 21 (No. 3), Bad Meets Evil's Hell: The Sequel (No. 6), and Gaga's Born This Way (No. 8).
