Ice Cube Gets Involved With An Art Program For Charity

Ice Cube has teamed up with RareInk for an art project inspired by some of the rapper's classic songs and albums. The first series is comprised of nine very limited pieces that are all signed by Cube himself. The art will be sold exclusively on RareInk.com, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Minority AIDS Project, a charity chosen by Cube.

“In the music business we take a hit song, sample part of it, and try to make another hit record with it. In the same way, RareInk has taken my albums and turned them into amazing works of stand-alone art. The series is something I’m really proud of and I’m sure other recording artists are going to want to get involved, both for their fans and their charities,” commented Ice Cube.
