Last night, LCD Soundsystem performed at Madison Square Garden for their last show ever. The NYC-based band fronted by James Murphy has made a huge splash in the music world over the past six years, releasing three critically acclaimed albums and always pushing the boundaries, but Murphy said the band was taking over his life and there are other projects that he wants to work on.

For the final show at MSG, Murphy asked fans to come dressed in all black and white, comparing the event to both a party and a funeral. The concert was nothing short of epic - surprise guests Arcade Fire joined the band on stage, and the musical celebration lasted for almost four hours. RIP, LCD Soundsystem. Way to go out in style.
