South by Southwest isn't only Austin's biggest musical festival but also an interactive film fest. Aside from all the acts who will play this year's show, many will be using the event to premiere their new films. Arcade Fire will drop off their 30-minute short film Scenes from the Suburbs directed by Spike Jonze at SXSW 2011. Other film and documentary premieres will include Joe Cornish‘s Attack the Block, Diplo's DJ Diplo, Live at Preservation Hall: Louisiana Fairytale, a film that documents the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and My Morning Jacket’s recent collaboration and the Foo Fighters’ new James Moll-directed documentary.

SXSW 2011's film fest runs from March 11-19. For a complete list, check out the official SXSW website.
