The talk of the BET awards besides Chris Brown's weepy Michael Jackson tribute has been the extravagant Horus chain Kanye West wore during his opening performance of the show. And today, we woke up to 'Ye hitting us up personally with new shots of the Egypt-inspired chain to post. We're not sure most people can pull it off, but then again not everyone is Mr. West. Hit the jump for full high-res images of the chain and then get back to work. These things don't come cheap.

Ye is always "ahead of the field"... This chain is just another example...
abraham July 1st, 2010 at 01:13 PM
why does everyone try to make it into a "black pride" thing? If you look at the numbers, Egyptian Pharaohs had far more slaves than the US did before the Civil War. Kanye wore this to accentuate his "Power" song, which pharaohs had down to a science.
Black Lotus July 7th, 2010 at 12:11 AM
Show me WHERE the Ancient Egyptians "had far more slaves the the US before the civil war." Prove that statement with references please. Hotep

It is a nice chain, but it is Horus from the Pagan trinity, Kanye also played the role of Horus in the run this town video. It is a "nice" chain, but it has symbolic meaning.......Its not egyptian history they are pushing, its the devil they believe in as their God. Kanye admitted to selling his soul, and true indeed his mother was a blood sacrifice
Jetson August 8th, 2010 at 12:38 PM
What your saying is true...
shosho August 11th, 2010 at 05:55 PM
that horus necklace is satanic. the eye of horus is the sighn of lucifer himself so why is kanye wearing a chain of horus reincarnated as a falcon. Because kanye is satanic and u should not participate in his devilish ways! Repent! repent! repennt!

I was once a believer untill i stopped being swayed by the rhetoric and started to look at the whole picture with an open mind but What i don't understand about all this illuminati hysteria is the odd connection of worshipping the devil and being successful...maybe by nature some people who are successful got thier success from comitting sins but i don't think the illuminati (if there is one) would be interested in putting devil worshipping as part of thier objectives..clearly MONEY is the prime objective not THE DEVIL!!! i think the reason why they(the successful) are accused of being devil worshipers is because of greed, which is one of the seven deadly sins..but c'mon dont belive the hype on either side...don't let rhetoric win over your ability to find the truth
