Steve Bannon wants his fellow bigots to wear their ignorance with pride.

The former adviser to Donald Trump appeared in northern France on Saturday to address the ultra-conservative French National Front Party. Bannon—or, as POTUS likes to call him, “Sloppy Steve”—told the crowd to embrace the disparaging labels that are frequently associated with the far-right movement.

“You argue for your freedom and they call you a xenophobe. You argue for your country and they call you a racist,” Bannon said during a speech at the National Front’s annual conference. “But the days of that smear are over. Let them call you racists. Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists. Wear it as a badge of honor. Because every day, we get stronger and they get weaker.”

Bannon’s infinite tour of stupidity is now on its European leg. According to the Washington Post, the former Breitbart executive has spent the last week or so visiting countries like Italy and Switzerland, where he’s attempted to push his populism brand to international conservative sects.

“I came to Europe as an observer and to learn,” Bannon told the National Front, as reported by the Post. “What I’ve learned is that you’re part of a worldwide movement, that is bigger than France, bigger than Italy, bigger than Hungary—bigger than all of it. And history is on our side. The tide of history is with us, and it will compel us to victory after victory after victory.”

Bannon is expected to meet with Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban, later this weekend.
