The page was sadly restored after 11 beautiful minutes.

President Donald Trump

It was a moment many of you have been praying for: Donald Trump’s personal twitter account, @realDonaldTrump, was wiped from the internet Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the bliss was short-lived, as the account was reactivated after 11 minutes.

According to the Huffington Post, people began noticing the page was inaccessible around 7 p.m. ET. Was it a glitch? Did his team do the country a favor and delete it? Or did POTUS finally get suspended after continuously violating Twitter's terms and conditions. Well, it turns out none of those theories were correct.

About an hour after the account reappeared, Twitter released a statement explaining exactly what happened. The site claims an employee who was leaving his job, decided to take down Trump’s page during their last day on the job.

Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review. https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF

Unsurprisingly, many Twitter users applauded the rogue employee.

Trump's twitter account vanishing and then reappearing moments later is the best evidence yet that the events of the past 2 years are the result of warring sects of time travellers
