Tomi Lahren Reportedly ‘Banned Permanently’ From The Blaze

Sources say Tomi Lahren's pro-choice statements on 'The View' got her permanently banned from Glenn Beck's conservative network The Blaze.

After a mid-March appearance on The View that found her contradicting traditional conservative beliefs by taking a pro-choice stance, Tomi Lahren may have to find a new network for her eponymous show, Tomi. In the wake of multiple sources reporting she was suspended for her statements, rumors are circulating that Lahren’s statements have brought more lasting repercussions.

“Sources say Lahren—who was suspended last week after flip-flopping on abortion and declaring herself pro-choice—has been banned permanently,” reported Richard Johnson of Page Six. Johnson cited anonymous sources who said The Blaze's founder, Glenn Beck, wanted to regain his popularity among conservatives, adding it was a key reason for Lahren’s dismissal.

The pro-choice comments in question came during a line of questioning about President Donald Trump’s treatment of women and reproductive rights.

“I’m pro-choice and here’s why,” Lahren said. “I am a Constitutional conservative. I am someone that’s for limited government. I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say, ‘I’m for limited government, but I think that the government should decide what women should do with their bodies.’”

Links to all Lahren’s “Tomi” branded content for The Blaze are still active on the network’s website. Lahren has not confirmed a suspension or a ban from The Blaze, but her recent tweets corroborate reports of being penalized for statements that would seem to go against the traditional pro-life views of most conservatives.

I will always stand up for free speech & welcome the conversation, even if I disagree with it. Disagreeing and silencing are very different. https://t.co/ACptAiliG2

On March 20, she re-tweeted a link from The Daily Caller reporting her alleged suspension. She’s since made several references to being silenced.

Lahren has a track record of unfounded, controversial statements including an appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah where she compared Black Lives Matter to the Klu Klux Klan.
