2017 is getting crazier by the day.

Since impeachment is still looking like a long shot option—at least for now—at getting Donald Trump out of the White House, desperate times call for desperate measures. So, in a move that exemplifies our extreme levels of despair, a document titled A Spell to Bind Donald Trump and All Those Who Abet Him (version 2.0) has been making the rounds. It's exactly what you think it is: witches from across the United States are looking to cast a spell to bind Trump. Even Lana Del Rey has showed her support.

The witches are hoping that by incorporating components, such as an "unflattering photo of Trump," "tiny stub of an orange candle," and more, "the mass energy of participants" could effectively cast the spell on the President of the United States. And if this story couldn't get wild enough, it appears that ChristianNationalism.com has shared a post, asking Christians to combat the spell through the power of prayer.

"This is a declaration of spiritual war and it requires a response," the post reads. "We beseech all Christian soldiers to answer this call to action by reading from Psalm 23. We ask you to join us in praying for the strength of our nation, our elected representatives and for the souls of the lost who would take up Satanic arms against us."

In just over one month into the Trump administration, we have witches and Christians battling it out over The Donald, and this may not even be the most head-scratching thing to have happened in that time span. This is going to be a long four years.
