The 25 Best Pizza Places in NYC

In NYC, you can find a pizzeria on practically every other block. Question is, who’s the best? Before the Internet explosion,  pizza lovers risked it all without food reviews available at the push of a button. Grabbing a slice from a random place was often your best option. Remember when word of mouth fueled the establishment’s reputation?

After years of scouring the streets, sampling everything, we bring you the 25 Best Pizza Places in NYC.

Premium Pete is hated in Brooklyn. How do you have him working for such a reputable magazine?

I'm good with Grimaldi's being #2 so I won't beef with you about not having Zesty's (95th & 3rd - Manhattan) or Famous Ray's of Greenwich Village ...I know all the Ray's claim to be the best and famous but this one is good money!! Good list overall!!!

Sorry, you lost me at #13 with Artichoke - their pizza is repulsive: basically spinach or crab dip dumped on top of mediocre pizza. If you look at their yep reviews they are loved by drunk folks stumbling by at 2am who don't know any better. It's a dishonor to all the other quality pizza places on this list that this place is even included.

I've been to all of the top 3, good choice on #1! But if you haven't heard of Lucia Pizza in Flushing (right at the end of the #7 train) you're missing out. The place has been around for AGES. I'm talking like 30+ years! Check it out! http://www.yelp.com/biz/lucia-pizza-flushing
