The Most Exclusive Cars From the Lamborghini Ad Personam Customization Program
What are the best cars from Lamborghini's Ad Personam customization program?
Image via Complex Original
Lamborghini introduced its personalization program, dubbed Ad Personam, back in 2008, but it never really took off. Since then, customization has become a huge advantage for competitors such as Rolls-Royce and Ferrari, which personalized every single car it sold in 2013. The bull couldn't keep sitting around getting sonned by horse, so Lamborghini announced an Ad Personam revival in February at the Geneva Motor Show.
Of course, the program has its limits. Lamborghini doesn't want its cars to end up looking like Donks. Customers can visit the Lamborghini factory in Sant'agata Bolognese, Italy to lace up their Aventadors and Huracans with two-tone exteriors, forged carbon fiber detailing, custom colors, emblems and monograms, and matte rims.
A few examples have already trickled out this year, and they've made us love Lambos more than we thought was possible. See why customization will become a major part of the Italian supercar manufacturer's business with The Best Cars From the Lamborghini Ad Personam Program.

Murcielago LP640 Roadster Versace
Debut: 2006 Paris Motor Show
Only two Versace Murcielago Roadsters were ever produced, which makes it one of the rarest Lamborghinis ever produced. The Versace Motif is featured subtly on the doors and less so on the seats and center console. If a rapper gets his hands on one of these, he'll be able to boast about cars better than anyone else. You can't lease one of these, though...
Mercielago LP640-4
Debut: 2009 Detroit Auto Show
With its matte blue finish, this Lamborghini Merci gave us high hopes that truly haven't been met until this year. Lamborghini calls the ridiculously photogenic paint "matte-luster," and claims it is the only manufacturer that knows how to make it. The entire interior is outfitted in Alcantara. We also get a little bit of variety with carbon fiber and suede on the steering wheel.
Gallardo LP560-4
Debut: 2009 Detroit Auto Show
Like the Ad Personam Murcielago, the Gallardo also received the satin blue treatment. However, that's not the paint job we would like to showcase. That honor goes to another striking paint job: "Marrone Apus," a matte brown that shines gold in the sun. The inside is complemented with a lighter brown Alcantara and Bianco Polar leather. Instead of carbon fiber, the center console and steering wheel are covered in Pianolack.
Aventador Roadster
Debut: 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Lamborghini had to bring it with this bespoke Aventador Roadster, as it was the face of Ad Personam's revival. The body contrasts "Blue Sideris opaque" paint, which is also added to the forged carbon fiber accents, with silver mirrors and windshield pillars. The two-tone scheme and eye-popping carbon fiber are also replicated inside. And look at those rims!
Aventador Jackie Chan Edition
Debut: 2014 Beijing Auto Show
Like Jackie Chan himself, this Aventador is one of a kind. The one-off Aventador debuted made its debut last month, and plans are for it to be auctioned off for charity. To commemorate the Hong Kong actor "Long," part of the actor's Chinese name, is embroidered in the headrests and doors. It also has a custom titanium gray paint job with shiny Nero Ade alloy wheels. Are you writing down these new vocab words?
Aventador Nazionale
Debut: 2014 Beijing Auto Show
Americans, take note: This is how you display your patriotism without going over the top. The green, white, and red stripe doesn't scream Italy; it says it at an appropriate volume. The interior features a lively blue reminiscent of the Azzurri soccer kit, as well as a small embroidered Italian flag. On the non-patriotic front, the Aventador also sports forged titanium mate rims, a transparent engine bonnet, and carbon fiber parts.
