It was going to happen sooner or later; the Xbox One announcement has already spawned internet memes. While some suck and others are only luke warm on the humor meter, there are a few that are downright funny. Gamers with a prominent funny bone poked at the VCR-like form factor along with the lack of video games featured. Not even Xbox's TV division head Nancy Tellem was safe.

Right before announcing the Halo: Unto Dawn live-action series the head of Xbox TV Studios, Nancy Tellem (yeah, we had Soulja Boy jokes too) tore down a path to internet meme glory with her marketing zinger, "Xbox will be the water cooler." We couldn't tell if there were more people scratching their heads in confusion or falling out of their seats in laughter.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

One gamer was so excited about opportunity to poke fun at the Xbox One reveal that they pulled out a first generation console and did a bit of do-it-yourself modding.

Photoshopping at it's finest brought us this faux-product shot of the Xbox One. Our prediction is that VCRs will be seeing a boom in sales until the joke dies out.
