Bye, Haters: Kim and Kanye's "Vogue" Cover Is Selling Incredibly Well

The #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple hashtag may not be so hyperbolic after all.

The winds of the media shitstorm that regularly surround Kim Kardashian and Kanye West intensified when the pair, excuse us, the #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple, scored the cover of the latest issue of Vogue. Some loved it, others are just plain tired of seeing their faces, and the rest, including (randomly) Sarah Michelle Gellar, went so far as to declare Vogue dead and cancel their subscriptions.

Well, as usual with these two, the joke is on their haters because the issue is flying off the shelves. Despite a Vogue rep's remark that the mag "never comments on sales," Page Six is reporting that the Kim-Kan issue is on track to move between 300,000 and 400,000 copies—around the same figure both Beyoncé and Michelle Obama boasted with their respective covers.

You can read this one of two ways: Either these two are, at this point, immune to controversy or they welcome it, revel in it, and it's exactly what feeds their unstoppable machine. One thing's for sure: You can cancel the subscription but you can't stop the reign.
