Although not what we were expecting, Jay-Z's"On to the Next One" video is nothing if not intriguing. Some loved it, some said it was his worst video since "Sunshine". We can't say we fully understand what Hov was trying to get across with the diamond encrusted skulls, fake jokers, masonic imagery and brand new Jaguar XJ—all we know is, whatever it is, no one else is doing it, and that's probably the point of it all: him being on some completely other shit.
One thing we can understand is that Jay came through fresh as usual. Yeah, he's still rocking with the "all-black everything" motif, but he continues to make it work.
