When picking up a rental car, most people can reasonably assume that a loaded gun isn’t going to be included with the vehicle. But WWE wrestler Shelton Benjamin found exactly that after renting a car in Little Rock from Budget rental for four days, according to KHOU.

The superstar wrestler posted a photo of the weapon and accused Budget for putting his "reputation, freedom and quite possibly my life in jeopardy.”

His anger is 100 percent understandable, considering the number of unarmed black men, or licensed carriers, who are shot by police during routine traffic stops every year. There’s no telling what danger the 42-year-old could have been in had he opened the glove compartment during a traffic stop and found the loaded gun. According to The Washington Post, 59 percent of the fatal police shootings that took place in 2017 involved a victim possessing a gun.

"I've unknowingly been driving your car around the last 4 days with a F'N LOADED GUN in the Glove compartment," Benjamin tweeted to the nationwide rental company.

Thank you @Budget (LIT) for your great service of putting my reputation, freedom and quite possibly my life in jeopardy I’ve unknowingly been driving your car around the last 4 days with a F’N LOADED GUN in the Glove compartment!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 pic.twitter.com/NZj7GmtA8V

Benjamin competed in Little Rock on Sunday for WWE’s Pre-Game Pandemonium event. The Smackdown star fought in a triple-threat tag team match during the event.
