Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis stayed true to his word. Despite breaking his arm in the NFC Championship Game against the Cardinals, Davis played in Super Bowl 50 last night. He recorded seven tackles during the game, too, including tackles like this one that proved that he wasn’t holding back during the biggest game of his life:

We have to imagine that the guy was in a lot of pain, though, because after the game, he shared a photo of his surgically repaired right arm. And…wow. That’s really all we can say. Davis said he didn’t do it to show how tough he is, but “tough” is really the only word that comes to mind (well, one of the only words…) when you look at this photo:
