For the past two summers, everyone has been wondering about the NBA's second-best tandem to Golden State's Splash Brothers, Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, for where they are going to sign upon their free agency during the Summer 2016. It's become a somewhat of a media frenzy regarding whether or not Durant's decision to sign elsewhere will be influenced by Westbrook signing with another team, and vice versa.

Many speculate that both players are looking to take their talents to bigger markets like New York, Golden State, or Durant heading to Washington— his hometown area. As for Russell, too many are asking if Westbrook will be signing with the Lakers, returning to his SoCal origin to become The Man in L.A. after Kobe hangs up his sneakers for good at the end of this season. Westbrook was asked on Saturday by a reporter whether he is leaning towards the glamour and glitz of Tinseltown, or not.

Well, that's the smart answer. After all, we still have a second half of the NBA season to go, and he doesn't want to piss off the OKC faithful in the midst of the season, plus bite the hand that feeds him. As we get towards the Playoffs this spring, it will be interesting to see how the Thunder fairs, and if Russell will have a change of heart, or stay true to his word about staying put in Oklahoma City.
