The last time Jose Aldo lost a fight, it was 2005. Tonight, he fought Conor McGregor for the UFC’s Featherweight Championship and their fight lasted…13 seconds. That's right—13 seconds. That's all it took for McGregor to send Aldo crashing to the mat.

“He’s powerful and he’s fast, but precision beats power and timing beats speed,” McGregor said after the fight. “He deserved to go a little bit longer, but it was going to happen eventually.”

Meanwhile, Aldo is already calling for a rematch.

“We need a rematch," he said. "That was not a fight, so we need to get in there again.”

You can watch the Vine above to see the KO, or you can watch it from an alternate angle below:

Either way, it's clear McGregor got the best of Aldo tonight.

McGregor recently said, “I am not a company man, I am the company,” in reference to his standing in the UFC, and after seeing his fight against Aldo tonight (13 seconds?!?), it’s pretty hard to argue with that.
