Cowboys Claim They Never Saw the Photos of Greg Hardy’s Ex-Girlfriend's Injuries

But the NFL did have access.

The horrific photos of Greg Hardy's girlfriend that Deadspin published immediately inspires a question: Did the Cowboys see these photos before Jerry Jones publicly declared him a "real leader"? That's reportedly a no, at least before the Cowboys decided to sign him.

ESPN reports that the NFL had access to the dozens of photos of Nicole Holder's injuries before the league issued its four-game suspension in April. The Cowboys officials were not allowed to view the photos, but the organization was aware that they existed.

Head coach Jason Garrett, executive vice president Stephen Jones and Jerry Jones have said that they did their "due diligence," but concluded they believed in second chances. 

But to reiterate: The NFL did have access to those photos. This ain't new.
