At some point between now and the end of the week, Tom Brady is going to find out his fate for the start of the 2015-16 NFL season. Either he's going to be subjected to a four-game suspension to begin the year as a result of his role in the Deflategate scandal—or a judge is going to rule that he's eligible to play when the season kicks off. No in between.

With that in mind, you might think that Brady would be a ball of nerves right now and, to some degree, we're sure he is. But he didn't let it show during the Patriots' annual Patriots Premiere last night, a charity event that featured Brady and some of his fellow New England players fielding questions from fans. At one point, he was asked if he did anything fun in the offseason after leading the Pats to a Super Bowl victory in February. And while that would have been a softball question during any other year, it resulted in Brady offering up a pretty sarcastic response and joking about the Deflategate investigation.

"Yeah," he said, "it's been such an enjoyable offseason."

Patriots owner Robert Kraft also chimed in when asked about Deflategate and called it the "most overblown story in recent NFL history."

We couldn't agree more. Stay tuned to see what a federal judge rules with regards to Brady's eligibility during the upcoming season. The Patriots kick off their season in just eight days against the Steelers.
