Last night, the Heat gave Dwyane Wade one very big incentive to stay in Miami this summer. Even though he's reportedly been thinking about opting out of his current contract and joining another team (the Cavaliers maybe?), the Heat drafted Justise Winslow with the No. 10 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and gave D-Wade a reason to stick around. It might just do the trick, too.
If that doesn't work, though, there's one other thing D-Wade should consider before he skips town. WWE wrestler Kane did an interview on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz on 560 WQAM on Wednesday and revealed that, if Wade does leave the Heat, he's going to chokeslam him.
"Do you have a particular move or threat we can use against Dwyane Wade if he, in fact, decides to leave the Miami Heat?" host Marc Hochman asked Kane.
Kane replied, "I'd be happy to chokeslam him if that's okay."
Ha. Think the threat of this happening to Wade will be enough to get him to stick around?
