The PGA Tour and golf in general have been accused of being too boring for the younger generation to appreciate. So how about a little bit of Twitter beef involving Drake to get the Millennials interested?!?

Apparently, pro golfer Will Wilcox was bumping Drizzy's music at the driving range at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. last week when one of his fellow pro golfers Brendan Steele took exception to it. We don't know if he didn't like the music or what, but whatever the case, he went and told someone from the golf course to ask Wilcox to turn it down. Wilcox obliged, but he also managed to find out who squealed on him and that led to this petty exchange between him and Steele on Twitter last night and earlier today:

Foooooooooore! SHOTS FIIIIIIIIIIRED!

The brief spat looks like it's earning Wilcox some extra followers:

This is epic. Preciate the follows #keepitreal

And maybe it'll lead to some new golf fans, too?

Er, OK. So unfortunately, no one really knows who these guys are, which means this pro golf beef probably isn't going to do much in terms of getting young people excited about the sport. But what a weird thing for two golf pros to argue about.

What Drake song do you think sent Steele over the edge?
