Russell Westbrook played a hell of a game against the Suns last night. He scored 39 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists to record his fourth triple-double of the season. But the Thunder lost 117-113 in overtime. So after the game, Westbrook—who shot 12-for-38 from the field, including 1-for-10 from behind the three-point line—admitted that he may have taken too many shots. And he also said that he feels he needs to do a better job trusting his Oklahoma City teammates.

"Honestly, I think I was actually shooting too much," he said. "I think I got to do a better job of trusting my teammates more. I am not saying I don't, but consistently trusting them regardless of what is going on, regardless of the time, score, and possession. Just find a way to trust them and let them make some plays as well."

Westbrook's 38 shots were a career-high. So he probably did take too many shots. But he also had one stretch during the second half where he was outpacing the entire Suns team. So it's hard to blame him for being as aggressive as he was towards the end of the game.
