Rex Ryan Reportedly Cleans Out His Desk Prior to Jets' Final Game of the Season

Sunday may be the last time Rex Ryan is the head coach for the New York Jets.

Could this be the end of the road for New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan? While you won't hear a peep out of owner Woody Johnson about Ryan's (or general manager John Idzik's) job security, other than that one incident, there have been moves within the Jets organization suggesting that a change is on the horizon.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Johnson hired Charley Casserly, a former general manager for the Washington Redskins and Houston Texans, as a consultant. And, according to NJ Advance Media, Casserly is already contacting possible replacements for both Ryan and Idzik. Even though he hasn't been informed that he will be let go after tomorrow's game against the Miami Dolphins, Rex has already prepared for the worst, cleaning out his office at One Jets Drive.

Even with a win over the Dolphins, Ryan's career head coaching record will be below .500.
