Please make this stop.

Five games. FIVE GAMES. That's how long Kevin Love has been playing for the Cavaliers at this point. He hasn't even had time to mess up his locker inside of Quicken Loans Arena. And yet, people are already trying to guess where he's going to end up next summer, assuming he decides to go anywhere once he has the opportunity to do it.

When Love agreed to be traded from the Timberwolves to the Cavs back in August, he also reportedly told Cleveland that he was going to sign a five-year deal with them once his current contract is up. But now, according to a new report that was posted on Bulls.com today, Love might consider opting out of the deal that he has now next summer and signing a new deal with the Cavs or maybe even taking his talents out West to play for the Lakers and…wait, what?!?

That's right, guys. After just five games, reports already have Love leaving Cleveland and signing with Los Angeles.

"Indications are he will seriously consider the opt out [in his contract] and has his eyes on a return to Los Angeles, where he attended college and where the Lakers long have had him on their free agent wish list," Sam Smith writes for Bulls.com.

Five games! FIVE GAMES! FIIIIIIIIIIVE GAMES!

This is just insane. We love a good NBA rumor. But weren't we just talking about where Love was going to end up after his time with the T'wolves? And now we're talking about where he's going to end up after his time with the Cavs? Everybody just relax and let Love play. At least for a few more games. Because trying to predict what he's going to do next summer before he even knows what's going to happen next week seems like a huge waste of time.
