“Damn, I swear sports and music are so synonymous/'Cause we want to be them, and they want to be us.” Drizzy spat that line on “Thank Me Now” back in 2010. The line still rings true today and Adrien Broner is a prominent example. The current WBA welterweight champ and CEO of the BandCamp record label loves to get in the booth when he's not working on his record of 27-0 or performing cunnilingus on strippers? stunting in his About Billions web series.

In the clip above A.B. decided to try his hand at spitting over Migo and Drake's "Versace" remix track. The video features the cliches of your stereotypical 2013 rap video: gold chains, scantily clad lightskinned video vixens, a stack of cash, and, of course, a molly reference. The champ will likely have a bit of time to do more freestyles and shoot more videos as he's fresh off a victory over Paulie Malignaggi last month.

So, was Broner's "Versace" freestyle a knockout or more of a haymaker that missed? Feel free to let us know in the comment section below.
