Probably a wise move.

GM and Chrysler, both of which received federal bail-out money during the depths of the recession, have announced that they are banning politicians from their buildings until after the election. In a country where people will write off a person, a group of people, or a corporation simply for showing a modicum of respect to the president or a governor, we can see why they're doing this.

That said, we think the kind of people who would write you off for being courteous to one of the country's leaders should be packed into a large container and rocketed into the sun.
