The NBA Rookie Who Spent $10,000 On Mega Millions Lottery Tickets Last Week Doesn't Regret His Decision

He was gonna blow his money on something, so why not the lottery?

None

Last week, we told you about how Washington Wizards rookie Chris Singletondropped $10,000 on the $640 million Mega Millions drawing. Well, now we can report the results of his investment.

Unfortunately, he didn't win the big prize (surprise, surprise!). He did win some money—he's still going through the tickets to try and determine how much—but he's not going to be able to retire anytime soon. Still, he revealed that he doesn't regret dropping $10K on lotto tickets because that $10K was apparently earmarked for "either that or blowing it in the clubs."

Ah, that's the spirit, rook! SMH. And we wonder how so many NBA players manage to go broke.
