New Balance and Concepts both call Massachusetts home, and they've worked magic together over the past 10 years. The one project that shook the independent sneaker industry was 2011's collaboration on the 999 sneaker, which was inspired by and named after John F. Kennedy. The shoe's nautical theme made the model an instant hit, and Concepts is bringing the sneaker back for ComplexCon this year.

The grey, tan, and blue pair that first dropped six years ago while be re-releasing on November 5 in Long Beach, California, but they'll also be introducing an alternate red version of the sneaker, which was created during the initial design of the "Kennedy" (now referred to as the "Hyannis," where the Kennedys call home).

The sneakers are Made in USA this time and will release on November 4 at ComplexCon for $200.
