London-based community collective 'The Basement' known for their culture of inclusiveness and passion for connectivity has collaborated with Nike on the freshly revealed Nike Dunk Low BSMNT.

The shoes, designed by member Daniel Pacitti (18) was created with the diversity of the group in mind. Combining canvas, corduroy, denim, and leather, giving a fresh take on the classic silhouette.

“At its heart, The Basement is all about creating opportunities for young people,” says Pacitti. “When designing the shoe, we made each panel a different material to represent the diversity within our community. When they come together, they form something more beautiful and more powerful.”

Further details are spread across the shoe from reflective material to an embroidered mini swoosh on the lateral side of the toe along with a unique BSMNT Swoosh logo to the tongue and rear. The Basement logo - a series of lines representing nine rungs of a ladder - is also given a reflective and embroidered treatment on the lateral side of the heel.

All proceeds from the shoe's sale will go towards the Youth Futures, an organisation, providing mentorship programs to British Youth. With plans of further supporting the organisation through the creation of a media production suite, The Basement looks to continue their support of youth culture and community spirit into the future.

To complement the exclusive drop, designer Miniswoosh (Alexandra Hackett) founder of ALCH created a capsule collection of clothing including jackets, bags and more. will be on sale.

The Nike Dunk Low BSMNT is available exclusively at The Basement x Nike pop-up in London on July 29. The address will be confirmed on the morning of the launch through the group's social channels. Check out the shots below, this isn't one to miss.
