In recent months, we've seen adidas raise the bar on innovation with projects like its Parley for the Oceans x Ultra Boost, Futurecraft 3D, and Futurecraft Leather. Now, with little warning, the brand has just unveiled the next development of Futurecraft tech.

Previewed here is what adidas is calling Futurecraft Tailored Fibre — or Fiber, for those of us in the States. Much like the name suggests, this Futurecraft tech uses a combination of synthetic and natural fibers to deliver a lightweight, no-frills sneaker that caters to the specific needs of each athlete.

Through the use of specialized machinery, which adidas has also emphasized as of late, the brand will be able to tweak both the look and feel of the fibers to better fit and support the wearer's foot. adidas has yet to elaborate on the different possibilities, but you can watch it all go down in the clip above.

As if this wasn't already dope enough, the Futurecraft Tailored Fiber sneakers are cushioned with the sole of the Ultra Boost for unmatched comfort. Unfortunately, these are only a prototype at this stage, but it's clear that the Three Stripes is putting in some serious work behind the scenes to make Futurecraft tech more widely available. Stay tuned, the future is bright.
