For all of the positive things that sneakers do in bringing people together, there is still an awful lot of negativity surrounding them. Unfortunately, another incident took place this weekend that gives the sneaker community a bad name. According ABC News Net 5, the Akron, OH location of well-know sneaker shop Villa was robbed this past weekend.

The report claims that the burglars broke into the shop by cutting through the roof. "Two men cut through the roof of the Villa shoe store on South Arlington Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday," police told ABC News Net 5. The suspects were able to make off with 20 pairs of Air Jordans, and are still at large. We hate to see this happen to anyone, but especially a store like Villa, which is known for giving back to the community more than most.
