The Los Angeles Lakers are on the road against the Rockets tonight, and for the first time in weeks, the buzz isn't centered around Kobe Bryant — well, at least not all of it.
Instead, it's on Nick Young's sneakers, the first colorway of the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost. Some 'heads are rightfully skeptical of Swaggy P's choice of footwear since the 750s are technically a lifestyle shoe, but it's not the first time we've seen this short of thing, and Kanye West himself has gone on record saying that that they're better for balling than his previous Air Yeezy sneakers.
Furthermore, Nick DePaula of Nice Kicks has confirmed that Young has officially signed with adidas. According to DePaula, Young and adidas agreed on a deal last week, and Nike failed to counter the deal by yesterday's deadline.
As of publishing, the Lakers are trailing at the half, but we wouldn't be surprised if Young manages to silence the doubters before it's over. Check out a few shots below.
