Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin is one of the faces of Jordan Brand now, but he didn't always get sneakers delivered to him, and used to wait in line for releases just like the rest of us. In Foot Locker's "Art of the Flight" video, Griffin talks about growing up loving Air Jordan sneakers, his favorite pairs, and how he used to line up to cop.

Like a lot of people, Griffin names the Air Jordan 11 as his favorite pair, specifically the "Cool Grey" colorway. He also mentions that the "Taxi" 12s were his first pair, and goes into detail about how he used to wait in line for kicks. "My brother and I stood in line, but, fortunately, growing up in Oklahoma, it wasn't too long a line. My mom took us, she wasn't happy about it but we spent our own money." Griffin finished off the interview by talking about all his efforts to make sure his Jordans stayed clean. Now that he's a Jordan Brand athlete, we're sure he worries a lot less about scuffing up his sneakers.
